EVERY TIME I DIE Cut Set Short After Gun Shots

Nobody at this time has been reported as hurt or killed, including the band. What a crappy way to end a set though, right?

So Every Time I Die were playing the Jamboree Festival in Ohio on April 13 when gun fire cut their set short. It's not specified how close (or far) the shots were fired, or who they were even aimed at, but I guess in the grand sceme that doesn't really matter; it's still a dangerous situation for everyone, especially if it were a warning of something worse to come that night. Naturally the band thinks the whole situation sucks, but totally understand-

Vocalist Keith Buckley said “I wont use tonights event to push an agenda.I’ll just say that the social contract our community honors was broken by the ONE. not the many.”

Bassist Steve Micciche said “Apologies to Jamboree Fest in Toledo. We came in hot, but some idiot came in hotter with a gun. Safety 1st. See ya in the summer.”

Drummer Ryan “Legs” Leger said “Gunshots interrupting our set? That’s a new one. Sorry we couldn’t finish the set guys”

Boy, good thing someone thought they'd be extra cool and bring a gun to a festival. Obviously context hasn't been established for why there were shots fired and who had the gun, but I'm only coming up with one or two different reasons as to why that would be needed- police stopping someone and zombies.
