Tony Iommi Has No Idea Why Ozzy Says He "Didn't Have A Great Time" With BLACK SABBATH Recently

"I had a great time on the last tour playing with the guys, and Ozzy never mentioned anything to me."

Black Sabbath recently wrapped up their career as a band with original vocalist Ozzy Osbourne behind the mic, and in retrospect Osbourne says he didn't have a great time doing it.

"I didn't have a great time. I spent nine or 10 years in Sabbath, but I'd been away from them for over 30 years. With them, I'm just a singer. With me, I get to do what I want to do. I was getting bad vibes from them for being Ozzy. I don't know, what the fuck else can I be?"

Right up to the end, I thought the band sounded great based on filmed footage and they didn't seem to let fans down in their performances.

In a new interview with The List, guitarist and riff master Tony Iommi says he's not really sure why Ozzy said that he didn't enjoy the shows. Iommi says he had a good time doing the shows and Ozzy never mentioned he was unhappy, and says that maybe his quote was taken out of context.

"I saw that, but I don't know what he meant. I had a great time on the last tour playing with the guys, and Ozzy never mentioned anything to me. He seemed to enjoy it and we had a laugh, so I don't know. So I think possibly that quote was taken out of context."

In some better news, Iommi says in the same interview he's remixing Black Sabbath's 1995 album Forbidden because he's never quite been satisfied with how it sounds.
