MUSHROOMHEAD's Internal Drama Sounds Like A Middle School Fight

This… is pretty childish.

This... is pretty childish.

Mushroomhead recently kicked out one of its singers, leaving it with two frontmen instead of three. We thought for sure the band was completely and totally over considering every band we like has three frontmen, but stranger things have happened and the band is someone how soldiering on. Now the booted Waylon Revis is speaking out about why he got kicked out, which was apparently because he was talking to a keyboardist that also got kicked out? We think? That's what Nu-Metal Messiah says anyway.

“In a nutshell – Shmotz (keyboards) was thrown out by Skinny, drummer and leader of Mushroomhead.

“Waylon (Reavis) was instructed not to make contact with Shmotz. Waylon was still talking to Shmotz.

“Stitch ratted Waylon out, telling Skinny that Waylon was still talking to Shmotz.

“Waylon was drunk and swung on him for being a ‘rat.’ He will never sing in Mushroomhead again.”

What I'm gathering from this is that the drummer told Revis not to talk to the keyboardist because if he does they'll never be best friends forever again and Revis was like "yeah well I'm gonna go eat lunch at HIS table" and spoke to him. So then Stitch told Skinny that Revis was totally hanging out with Shmotz after school because he's super jealous and… ah, you know what?

Fuck it. You get the picture. Mushroomhead still has 47 band members and will soon buy its own neighborhood block so everyone can hang out and play kickball after school.
