JEFFREY NOTHING Set To Launch His Own Version Of MUSHROOMHEAD In 2025

Nothing originally co-founded the band in 1993.

Former Mushroomhead vocalist Jeffrey "Nothing" Hatrix is set to launch his own version of Mushroomhead sometime in 2025. Hatrix was one of Mushroomhead's founding members back in 1993, and he stuck with the group until quitting in 2018. Hatrix doesn't say who specifically will be in his new version of Mushroomhead (or what the name will be), only noting that a former guitarist will be part and "at times possibly drums."

I just have one request for Hatrix – please don't name this new band Hatrix's Mushroomhead or Mushroomhead A.D. or anything. The world has enough of those types of names. Though I get the feeling it's gonna be, considering he calls it a "yet to be named version of Mushroomhead."

"My yet to be named version of Mushroomhead… Coming Soon," wrote Hatrix. "This will be my new take on the band I Co- Founded. I will be the only returning vocalist. It will include a new Bassist, Keyboard player and Co Lead Vocalist. Returning members will play Guitar and at times possibly drums. The Band that we were always meant to be. We will do whatever we want and no one, Members included… will ever tell us what to do!"
