Ozzy Osbourne has announced he's cancelled the Australian, New Zealand and Japan legs of his No More Tours 2 tour. This includes his appearance at Download in Japan.
According to a press release, he's been advised by a doctor to stay home for six weeks following a very serious bout with pneumonia. Sharon says Ozzy is through the worst of it, and these cancellations are just to ensure that he's fully recovered.
"Ozzy recently developed pneumonia and has spent some time in hospital. Thankfully he is now through the worst part," says Sharon Osbourne. "His doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for a full six weeks with no travel."
This bout with pneumonia has also caused Ozzy to cancel the European leg of the tour, and caused him to be in the ICU for a little while. We wish Ozzy all the best in his recovery and look forward to him being back out on the road closing out his career as a touring musician.
