WHORES' Cover of BLACK SABBATH's "Cornucopia" Is Devastating

"We smoothed it all out to 4/4 though, because we're cavemen and proud of it, ha."

Whores is one of the many fantastic bands to contribute to Magnetic Eye Records' upcoming covers album of Black Sabbath's classic 1972 record Vol. 4. Whores is now streaming their slightly slowed down, heavy-as-all-fuck cover of "Cornucopia" that'll surely blown your speakers out.

"It was cool that we got to do 'Cornucopia,' because it's not a typical song to cover," said vocalist and guitarist Christian Lembach in an interview with Brooklyn Vegan.

"When we were learning the basic structure of the song we found out very quickly why the song is called 'Cornucopia'. The song starts in 4/4, switches to 12/8 and back to 4/4, and then the middle section is in 3/4! We smoothed it all out to 4/4 though, because we're cavemen and proud of it, ha."

Vol. 4 Redux will also feature contributions from Thou, Haunt, Whores, and Matt Pike. Pre-order the album here.
