LAMB OF GOD & MEGADETH Stream "Wake Up Dead" Cover

It rips as expected.

The entirety of both Lamb Of God and Megadeth have teamed up for a cover of Megadeth's 1986 track "Wake Up Dead." The cover was streaming yesterday on SiriusXM Liquid Metal with Jose Mangin, and is now available to stream online.

"We had a blast playing with Lamb Of God on their cover of 'Wake Up Dead,'" said Dave Mustaine. "Almost as much fun as we're going to have playing every night on 'The Metal Tour Of The Year'. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!"

"The first leg of 'The Metal Tour Of The Year' back in 2021 was a total blast, and we're about to take it on the road again," added Randy Blythe. "What better way to kick it off than a little inter-band jam session? All nine members of Megadeth and Lamb Of God are on the thrash classic 'Wake Up Dead'. Turn it up, and we'll see you on the road!”

Yesterday was also a pretty big day for Megadeth fans, as Dave Mustaine revealed a handful of details about the band's upcoming new record The Sick, The Dying, And The Dead. Mustaine revealed that Steve Di Giorgio played bass on the record, as well as what songs Megadeth covered and if they'll be playing some new music on their upcoming tour (they might). Check all those details out here.
