Acephalix is back with their first record in five years Theothanatology, and a crushing new single called "Abyssal." It's not too often we hear from Acephalix, with the band having put out four records in 12 years, but when we do they always deliver.
Acephalix is currently vocalist Daniel Butler (Vastum), drummer David Benson (Lawless, Said Sara), bassist Erika Osterhout (Chthonic Deity, Scolex), and guitarists Adam Camara (Ensepulcher, Battleshök) and Adam Walker (Kata Sarka, ex-Fog, ex-Graves Of The Endless Fall).
Theothanatology was produced by Greg Wilkinson (Fetid, Vastum, Ulthar, Undergang), and features the painting Girolamus Trasfiguratio by Ettore Aldo Del Vigo as the cover. Additional photography was done by Adam Houmam and layout by Dan Fried. Pre-orders for Theothanatology are available here.
