I feel like I've been writing about this topic far more often than I am comfortable with, to be honest with you. Between that asshole Ian Watkins, the idiotic pedophile in Blood on the Dance Floor and this dog-fucking Dream Theater fan, we've been spending a bit too much time writing about unconscionable sex acts. Thankfully, nobody was harmed in this story.
Betrayal are an up-and-coming hardcore band from California. Their now ex-drummer, Tony Ramirez, was arrested last month, July 25 to be exact, in Vancouver, WA on suspicion possessing and dealing child pornography.
The idiot apparently uploaded a few images of underage females (between six and twelve years old) to his Gmail account to have it there as backup. Google's anti-child-porn algorithm spotted the inappropriate photos and passed the info to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, who then called the cops on Ramirez.
He is currently being held in Vancouver with bail set at $25,000. His hearing is scheduled in a hearing in October for the following charges:
- Two counts of first-degree possession of images depicting a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
- One count of second-degree possession of images depicting a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
- Two counts of first-degree dealing of images depicting a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
- One count of second-degree dealing of images depicting a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
- Two counts of first-degree viewing of images depicting a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
- One count of second-degree viewing of images depicting a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
As for his (now former) band, they are wisely distancing themselves from this sick individual:
“We just wanted to address everything going on with Tony. First, I want to say how shocked and disappointed we are about the allegations in the news regarding him. This is something that we would have never expected to hear about him. With that being said, Tony has not been a member of Betrayal for over two years. He had some unfortunate events happen in his life that did not allow him to commit full time and be a member of this band. If you follow us, you would notice that Tony hasn’t been in our promo pictures or on tour with us in quite some time. We sincerely hope these alegations prove to be false, but regardless, this is something that we do not take lightly and something that shouldn’t be reflected upon Betrayal.”
Thankfully, nobody was hurt by this sick human being!
