Ten days ago, former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd was sentenced to house arrest after Rudd plead guilty to the charges of drug possession and trying to kill his assistant late last year.
Today, Rudd was arrested again, according to TeamRock. Nobody can explain why Rudd was arrested this time, with his lawyer Craig Tuck issuing this statement: “All I can say is he has been arrested and will be appearing on Monday in the Tauranga District Court.”
Rudd was initially arrested in late 2014 after he tried to offer $200k to get his assistant taken out, fueled by methamphetamine addiction, as a result of disappointing solo album sales. In a recent interview, it was discovered that his motivation was a drug-fuel rage over disappointing album sales.
The judge who sentenced him a few weeks back called him "a fragile man" adding “You are now 61 years old, Mr Rudd – you are not 21.” Basically, the judge was trying to tell Rudd to get his shit together. Too bad he didin't listen.
