5 Horror Movies with Very Metal Cameos

Ivan Moody is a Clown (No, Really)

Anyone who's heard Five Finger Death Punch knows that Ivan Moody has a hell of a voice.  Even if their brand of Metalcore isn't for you, you can't deny that Ivan's vocals are powerful and sincere whether he's belting, serenading or screaming.

Devils Carnival is director Darren Lynn Bousman's follow up to his cult hit Repo: The Genetic Opera.  Both movies are Gothic-themed, Horror rock operas.  Devil’s Carnival is an anthology with a series of short stories.  Each segment’s plot follows the tortured souls of sinners as they deal with their punishments in Hell.  As it is an opera, every line is presented in continuous song.

As you can tell during some of the more melodic moments in Five Finger Death Punch songs, Ivan can actually sing.  In this movie, he appears briefly as a hobo clown, begging for coins from a carnival crowd as he tells a tale a greedy woman’s dark fate.  So, even if you don’t like Ivan, at least you can revel at seeing him in a ridiculous red nose and clown outfit in the video.

If you're paying attention, you'll notice that there are actually two clown-based cameos in that clip.  The tamer with the whip is Shawn Crahan, better known as Clown from Slipknot.
