5 Horror Movies Made Better with Metal

Queen of the Damned & Jonathan Davis

Queen of the Damned is a 2002 adaptation of one of Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles novels.  It wasn’t very well received, but this movie has become an odd cult classic mostly because of its music.  The score was put together by Jon Davis as his first musical side project from Korn.  While Jon did a lot of the writing, the soundtrack did feature contributions from metal acts that were popular at the time like Static-X, Marilyn Manson and David Draiman from Disturbed.  It is hard not to chuckle, though, when the main character starts singing with his band on screen and its Jon Davis’s voice coming from the skinny and glamorous vampire.
