Ozzy Osbourne is currently in the midst of his No More Tours 2 tour. One thing he's clarified on any interview he's done is that this might be his final tour, but he's still "going to do gigs."
Another thing Ozzy's been talking about is doing another solo album
. on and off long before that tour was even announced. Ozzy began talking about it in 2016 and said he was writing with one of Billy Idol's guitarists, reunited with Zakk Wylde in 2017 and said he wanted to do it, said doing an album was a waste of money, and said he wanted to do it but didn't have enough songs yet.
In his latest comment about the new material, he tells The Boston Herald that he now has songs written but doesn't know when he'll record them.
"I have a bunch of songs written and have plenty of ideas and really want to do a new album, but as to when and how it will come together, I do not really know."
Ozzy will certainly have plenty of free time after the holidays, so perhaps we can hear some material in late 2019 or perhaps 2020. Jeez, 2020 is only a year and a half away.
