Hellyeah's 2007 self-titled debut album has been certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). This means the album has sold in excess of 500,000 records in the United States since its release.
As far as new Hellyeah goes, things are up in the air ever since drummer Vinnie Paul died. Guitarist Tom Maxwell said he doesn't feel the need to continue with the band, while vocalist Chad Gray said the band is in a holding pattern and he hopes they'll continue.
