Earnings & Attendance - TOOL, MISFITS Made HOW MUCH On Their Recent Shows?!

Posted by on June 7, 2019 at 1:40 pm

How much money does a band make on the road? Billboard hopes to answer that question, somewhat, by providing gross sale reports in their weekly Boxscore report. We like to check in every once in a while to see how metal bands are doing. Keep in mind, these are gross sales, meaning this is before the venue, promoter, etc. get the cut. This doesn't mean the band gets the entire piece of the pie and their profits vary based on the deals they make. As always, thanks to ThePRP for the numbers. Check out our previous Earnings & Attendance Reports.

On our last check in, Metallica were making insane amounts of money on their arena tour, even beating out KISS. Let's kick things off with some TOOL numbers:

These were mostly off-dates from Tool's headlining appearances at a bunch of rock festivals. These were also some of Tool's first shows of 2019, where they unveiled new material. Naturally, all the shows sold out and each drew over a million dollar gate. Very impressive!
