Ukrainian-based mathcore quartet The Nietzsche are set to drop their debut EP, Intro To Advanced Poetry, on September 1. The extended play, which is essentially a concept album comprised of the well-known poetry, features writing from Edgar Allen Poe and Walt Whitman, among others.
"Initially, I wanted to have all the songs to be poems by Mayakovsky, but, somehow over time, it became clear that this concept of the group would be too narrow," says vocalist Eugene Tymchyk.
