THE CONTORTIONIST Conjures Up A "Primordial Sound" On Some New Music

Oh, hey old school Cynic progginess. What's up?

Oh, hey old school Cynic progginess. What's up?

The Contortionist's upcoming album Language is one greatly anticipated by fans. Not only does it see a major change in the group's sound, but also welcomes Last Chance to Reason vocalist Michael Lessard. The first single off the record was pretty well received, so I'd imagine y'all are going to dig "Primordial Sound" just as much!

"Primordial Sound" is pretty much exactly what I expected it to be- proggy goodness that isn't afraid to get heavy. If you're a fan of Cynic and wish they'd get heavier, or just a fan of progressive music that knows when to stay quiet and when to bring the heavies, then this song is for you! Language is out September 16 via eOne Music.
