We've gotten so used to Royal Thunder's particular brand of sludgy rock and roll that a song like "Glow" really threw me for a loop the first time I heard it. "Glow" is a little less gloomy Led Zeppelin and a little more summer psychadelic lovin'! Plus, I think you're going to have one hell of a time getting the hook from this song out of your head. It's a little ridiculous.
Royal Thunder will be releasing Crooked Doors on Apr. 7 via Relapse Records. Don't forget to check out the group's other singles from the album too! Those being "Time Machine" and "Forget You," of course. They're equally awesome, if not totally different from "Glow" which bodes very well for the album as a whole.
