It was a bit surprising to hear that Ozzy Osbourne makes a guest appearance on the new Post Malone album, until you remember Malone has quite the history of metal and hard rock roots, including starting out in a high school Asking Alexandria cover band.
So, how does this track with Ozzy sound? It's not bad, actually. It's got a basic, chill beat and Ozzy sings the first verse and then comes back around towards the end with Travis Scott helping sing the chorus. Then, to my delight, there is a guitar solo. .
Hey, if Post Malone gets even one kid to check out Ozzy and become a metalhead, I'm okay with this.
Earlier this year, Ozzy dealt with both a bad bout of pneumonia and then re-awakening some old (and serious) injuries during a bad fall. The Prince of Darkness has since recovered at home and has rescheduled some of the dates for 2020 (including North America).
