Monolord is releasing its sophomore effort Vænir on Apr. 28 via Riding Easy Records and here's a very good reason as to why you should excited. I got the promo for this record maybe a week or so ago and it has been the soundtrack to every single drive to and from work since. It's a beefy record that leaves no sonic frequency unfilled and manages to make massive, gargantuan, slow-moving riffs that never seem to end work ridiculously well. I can honestly say I was never once bored throughout this record- it's a doom monster and it's perfect.
