Is Jamey Jasta gearing up to release a solo album? He's already posted one new track, "I Am Immortal" which would be UFC fighter Matt Brown's entrance theme. Today, Jasta released another new solo track, "Deadly Business" and it sounds very Jasta-y.
It's so odd hearing Jasta trying what could be confused for clean singing, but he pulls it off. The track itself is pretty solid hardcore metal.
Maybe Jasta recorded a new album's worth of material and is slowly leaking out tracks and then he'll finally announce a full length? It's interesting that his distribution model seems to be 100% Bandcamp, with him reaping the profits. Perhaps other established artists should take notice of this for how to eventually release material, once they are label-free.
