Apparently, some of you disagreed with me when I called the short snippet of Stone Sour's cover of Metallica's "Creeping Death" pretty heavy. The comments were mixed on Friday. Today, the band released the full cover of the song:
Now that I hear the full version, it seems like a by-the-numbers cover, with a little extra oomph, but it doesn't deviate too much from the formula.
The track will be on the band's covers EP, Meanwhile In Burbank… out on Record Store Day, April 18th.
