Iron Maiden has been releasing their first eight records, and all the corresponding 7" singles that went along with the releases, on vinyl periodically throughout the last few months. It's an interesting concept to say the least and awesome for hardcore fans to finally get their hands on the vinyl of their favorite records and some rare b-sides!
They've also bundled up all the re-releases into one vinyl set which is going for $69.99 on Amazon.com.
So what goes into the production of vinyl on this scale? The band sought the answer out and posted two separate videos of the ordeal on their YouTube page. Here's the first two parts of the series!
I'm hoping there's a part three. This appeals to both my inner vinyl nerd and my inner Iron Maiden nerd.
