We love when we find out about people who you don't expect to be into heavy metal loving the genre that we hold dear to our hearts, like when we found out Madonna digs Pantera, Harry Potter loves metal or even that Justin Bieber digs Metallica.
But a Prince?! Prince Harry digs himself some thrash metal. Actor Dominic West, whom you might remember from the 2001 movie Rock Star with Mark Wahlberg or perhaps as McNulty from the Wire, recently went to the south pole on an expedition with the prince and told the Daily Star about Harry's listening habits:
“Harry has a terrible selection on his iPod. It is the sort of thing soldiers listen to. Hardcore thrash metal.”
Listed among the bands in his music collection are the big four of thrash: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. Also, screw you, Dominic West! Those are fine selections for a British lad.
Now will you excuse me while I sit and imagine Harry blasting "Symphony of Destruction" while the Queen shouts at him to turn down that damn racket.
