MEGADETH Shares Heavy New Riff Tease, Is Handing In Their New Record "Any Day Now"

"It won't be long till there's a new Megadeth record."

After literally years of talking about it, the new Megadeth record is about to cross the finish line. According to guitarist and vocalist Dave Mustaine in a new Cameo video, the band is just approving a handful of songs and expects to turn the new album in to the label "any day now".

"The record is almost done, if you can believe that. I'm just listening to the last little bits right now. Kiko's stuff is all done. We should be turning this in any day now. We've been turning in individual songs, and right now it's down to just approving the last couple of songs. So, keep your fingers crossed and hold your breath. It won't be long till there's a new Megadeth record."

You can hear a sample of a heavy new riff from the album below.

We recently heard a little of the new Megadeth record in another Mustaine Cameo, as well as found out that the album is called The Sick, the Dying and the Dead. Previously, Mustaine teased that the new bassist of Megadeth was in the studio, believed to be Testament's Steve Di Giorgio. In the meantime, you can hear a tease of a new riff toward the end of the video below (promoting Mustaine's Cameo).

Megadeth will hit the road this August with Trivium, Lamb of God, and Hatebreed.
