Either someone that works at Bethesda is a huge Katatonia fan or the whole office just jams on Katatonia while they're working on new games. Bethesda jammed a Katatonia reference into Skyrim and now the gaming company has stuck yet another one into its new hit, Fallout 4! Here's a screen shot of the reference.
The reference is to the band's 2012 album Dead End Kings and even the Sergeant's name up top is "J. P. Renkse," or Jonas Renkse the frontman of the band. The band noticed as well and made a comment on the easter egg on Facebook!
Remember the Katatonia Easter egg in Skyrim a few years ago? Well, now it looks like the cool people at Bethesda have done it again with Fallout 4. Guess we have to play this one through.
Given Bethesda's general metal fan populous, or at least their love for Katatonia and Amon Amarth, I say the aforementioned bands be employed to write the soundtrack to the next Elder Scrolls games.
