THOUGHTCRIMES (EX-THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN) Drop "Keyhole Romance" Video From Debut Album Altered Pasts

Just announced LP will arrive on August 26

Mathcore act Thoughtcrimes featuring former The Dillinger Escape Plan drummer Billy Rymer, will be releasing their debut LP Altered Pasts on August 26 via Pure Noise Records. The first single, "Keyhole Romance," features a music video by director Tom Flynnn (Lamb of God, All That Remains). You can check out the video above.

About the new single, Rymer has said "This is possibly the most ambitious track we've ever made. We wanted to see how far we could push ourselves utilizing dynamics and pure chaos to cohesively create something disgusting yet beautiful. A concept that lead to the treatment of the music video with the high energy performance segments contrasting with the bright colors and gracefulness of the actress."

Talking about the album, guitarist Brian Sullivan has said it "was shaped by the world around us and within us at the same. This album is both a reflection and synthesis of our cognitive, emotional and spiritual processes, as well as a catharsis." A pre-order for Altered Pasts is available here.

Thoughtcrimes will join Zao as special guests for three dates in mid-September. You can find those dates below, and for more info on Thoughtcrimes, please visit their website.
