Rapper Jeris Johnson originally entered the rock and metal world in 2021 when he worked with Papa Roach on a rework of their classic "Last Resort" single. Johnson made the rounds again this year when he was named as one of the openers for the upcoming Korn and Evanescence tour, and now he's back again with a cover of Slayer's "Raining Blood."
Though I'm not sure if this really qualifies as an actual cover? Sure, the melodies and general structure is there, and Johnson is certainly keeping in time with the classic riffs, but that's about it.
