After announcing their new record last week, Monuments is back with some new music in the form of the massively groovy "Cardinal Red." The video was directed by Sitcom Soldiers and is predictably very red.
"The story outlined in this video, is without question, a metaphorical concept," said the band. "The true meaning of 'Cardinal Red' can be found cryptically within the lyrics."
Monuments will release their new record In Stasis on April 15, which will be their first full-length without guitarist Olly Steele. The record will feature guest appearances from both Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo and ex-Monuments vocalist Neema Askari, and was co-produced by composer Mick Gordon (Doom, Prey, Killer Instinct).
