METALLICA Streams Second Performance Of "Dirty Window" In 11 Years

St. Anger rides again.

Metallica originally played "Dirty Window" for the first time in 10 years during their December 19, 2021 anniversary show at the Chase Center in San Francisco, CA. Now the band has revisited the song once more during a May 10 show at Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil. You can watch the footage above and maybe ask yourself – was St. Anger really that bad? Because the answer is probably "not really."

Metallica made headlines earlier this week as the band hosted their eighth-annual Metallica night at Oracle Park on May 24 as the San Francisco Giants played against the New York Mets. Check that footage out here, as well as the contest Metallica is running that offers fans a chance to win both the James Hetfield Signature Series ESP Snakebyte Guitar and Kirk Hammett Signature Series ESP KH-2 Guitar they used during the performance.

As has been reported here, there's a lot of activity in the Metallica camp, though nothing that points directly to a follow up to 2016's Hardwired…To Self-Destruct. In the meantime, the band has launched one hell of a vinyl turntable in conjunction with Pro-Ject that you can check out here.
