Gnome genuinely might be one of my favorite bands in recent years. The band does massive stoner-flavored rock extremely well, and pairs it with some of the most fun music videos in recent memory. For proof of both, look no further than "Old Soul" and the accompanying, castle-raiding music video (with loads of footage from the 1962 film The Magic Sword). The way Gnome inserts themselves into the classic film to make it all their own is just… perfect.
Gnome will release their new record Vestiges Of Verumex Visidrome on September 13. Get "Old Soul" here in the meantime.
