EVENT HORIZON's New Song "Of Man" Grooves Hard, Features THE CONTORTIONIST Guitarist

FFO: Old Born of Osiris, old The Contortionist, After The Burial.

Event Horizon reminds me a lot of what I loved about the late 2000s – people writing convincing grooves, legitimately soaring choruses, and really digging into those single-note riffs. A lot of that has fallen by the wayside to make room for poppier stuff, but Event Horizon is bringing it back.

The band's new single "Of Man" featured The Contortionist guitarist Robby Baca, and will hit the studio this summer to record their debut LP out 2020. The band lists their influences as As I Lay Dying, After the Burial, In Flames, Veil of Maya, and it definitely comes across.

Here's what the band had to say about the track.

"We are very excited to finally be releasing this track. We'd like to thank Robby Baca for hopping on this track with us. We hope you all enjoy this as much as we do."

"Of Man" was produced, mixed, and mastered by Zack Keel, filmed by Jorge Crespo of Tooth & Nail Productions, and all associated artwork was designed by Jordan Madere.
