Dude 3D-Prints More Neck To Give His Guitar 38 Frets

The opposite of the usual extended range guitar.

Said Too Much Productions has taken the concept of an extended range guitar and went in the opposite direction we're used to. Instead of going way lower, this guitar goes up to 38 frets to hit some ridiculously high notes. Sure, it's not practical and can only be used by repositioning the way you're playing the instrument, but as a proof of concept it's pretty cool!

Here's the description of the video.

So this was an interesting project. Don't call it useless just yet as there may be a lot of different designs to try and techniques. I really like those super high music box like notes, and if you could actually get your hand over to those super high frets properly, you could stretch some pretty crazy intervals on chords. Just think about it, we've experimented beyond both sides of the piano now!

*last minute edit: In the demo, the guitar only has 38 frets. I forgot I took one out at the end for the final print thinking it's print easier.
