Årabrot is about to take you on a very strange journey with their new music video for "Hailstones For Rain/The Moon Is Dead" off their upcoming album Norwegian Gothic. According to vocalist and guitarist Kjetil Nernes, the new single is an example of just how weird Årabrot plans on making rock music.
"Årabrot is essentially a rock band and Hailstones For Rain is a good example of the morphed, transformed kind of rock music Årabrot represents," said Nernes. "It is a rock’n’roll metamorphosis with a brooding biblical disaster to boot."
Norwegian Gothic features collaborations with Lars Horntveth (Jaga Jazzist), cellist Jo Quail, Tomas Järmyr (Motorpsycho), Anders Møller (Turbonegro, Ulver) and Massimo Pupillo (Zu). The album was produced by Jaime Gomez Arellano (Black Eyed Peas, Paradise Lost, Hexvessel, Oranssi Pazusu) and is available for pre-order here prior to its April 9 release date.
