ANTHRAX Talks About The Disastrous Release Of Volume 8

The album was done and the label folded basically the day after.

Anthrax is now streaming Episode Twenty of their career retrospective, and this time it's all about how bad the release of Volume 8: The Threat Is Real was in 1998. The album was the band's first and only on the Ignition label, which folded basically right as soon as the album came out. The band also touches on the hidden track "Pieces" written by bassist Frank Bello for his brother, who was murdered in 1996.

Anthrax is currently working on a new album that we'll hopefully get to hear this year! The band will also perform a special worldwide livestream on July 16. Tickets are available here.
