MUDVAYNE Is Planning On Writing New Material Soon

Mudvayne originally reunited in 2021 and played their first show back at the Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival that September. Mudvayne has since been scheduled for numerous other festival appearances, as well as an upcoming tour this summer with Rob Zombie, Static-X, and Powerman 5000.

Now in an interview with Avenged Sevenfold bassist Johnny Christ in his Drinks With Johnny podcast, vocalist Chad Gray has revealed that Mudvayne plans on writing new materiel hopefully soon. Gray made mention of the material at the end of the interview, saying he's excited to hear new Avenged Sevenfold and hopes that Mudvayne is "going to be working on some new shit soon too."

"I'm really excited to hear your new shit and Mudvayne is hopefully going to be working on some new shit soon, too. So awesome. I can't wait to definitely get our heads together. Maybe we could do some do some touring or something someday."

A new Mudvayne record would be their first new material since their 2009 self-titled album.

Mudvayne will soon hit the road with Rob Zombie, Static-X, and Powerman 5000. In addition to the tour, Mudvayne has now added two headlining dates with Starset and Powerman 5000 as support. Those dates are:
