Recently we posted two new Marilyn Manson tracks "Third Day of A Seven Day Binge" and (a preview of) "Killing Strangers."
While we and a lot of our readers really dug the jams, there wasn't much information floating around in the way of a new album announcement. Over the weekend, Manson revealed that he is indeed releasing a new album, as expected. The new record will be called The Pale Emperor and it will be released January 16! You can see the cover art above. There's even a tracklisting (which of course means nothing until there is actual audio attached to these names)
01. Killing Strangers
02. Deep Six
03. Third Day Of A Seven Day Binge
04. The Mephistopheles Of Los Angeles
05. Warship My Wreck
06. Slave Only Dreams To Be King
07. The Devil Beneath My Feet
08. Birds Of Hell Awaiting
09. Cupid Carries A Gun
10. Odds Of Even
11. Day 3 (deluxe edition only)
12. Fated, Faithful, Fatal (deluxe edition only)
13. Fall Of The House Of Death (deluxe edition only)
I'm really pulling for the record to continue along the trend of that down-tempo, jangly goth sound he's got going with "Third Day of a Seven Day Binge." It works really well with his voice and it's super-catchy.
Manson recently played a Halloween show in Los Angeles where he invited actor Johnny Depp and Ninja Die Antwoord for a unique rendition of "The Beautiful People." He also stars as a white supremacist leader named Ron Tully on the final season of Sons of Anarchy, airing now on FX.
