Different than the live album titled L-1VE from earlier this year.

Despite having just released a new studio album and a live album this year, Haken isn't ready to stop giving you new stuff to listen to. The band has announced their live EP L+1VE, a play on the first live album's title L-1VE, for release on December 7. The EP is taken from Haken's 2016 performance at the ProgPower Festival in Atlanta, GA. It also features Mike Portnoy in the way that one of their tracks also featured Mike Portnoy – technically.

“Although festival performances and band changeovers can be a logistical nightmare, this one turned out to be a very special show for us on our first extensive US tour. Despite battling with some technical issues, the show went on, so to speak, and here we have handpicked our favorite 4 tracks from that performance.

A proverbial cherry on top was getting Mike Portnoy to agree to come on stage and re-enact his cameo appearance on ‘Crystallised‘ with his signature gong!”

Check out the track list below, and go see Haken on tour with Leprous and Bent Knee this month.

01 – “Falling Back To Earth”
02 – “Pareidolia”
03 – “Earthrise”
04 – “Crystallised”
