We've been waiting a really long time for a new Gojira record. They were in the studio earlier this year and then decided that they didn't really like the new record so much, so some of the material was scrapped infavor of better material. Then, in late October, they re-entered the studio to finally get shit done.
So how is the album progressing? Well, based on a new update from the band, it looks like all the instruments have been recorded and all that's left is tracking vocals (at least we assume the instruments are recorded, isn't that how tracking usually goes?) Here's the update:
