3 Inches Of Blood has been reunited since late 2023, and of course that always comes with the ever-present question of if there will be new music. According to 3 Inches Of Blood vocalist Cam Pipes in a recent interview with New Noise Magazine, the band is certainly thinking about it! Pipes notes that he hopes 3 Inches Of Blood can get some new material done this year, but doesn't promise anything.
"I think early [in 2025] we'll start working on that, set aside some time to get everybody together when we don't need to be rehearsing for a show, and just sit down and say, 'OK, let's see what we got, because there's obviously a desire for people to want to hear new music from us,'" said Pipes.
"And so, yes, there is a possibility of us writing new music, and there are ideas, and we do want to see what we got, and see what we can come up with. Hopefully we'll have something done next year. But it's really too early to say how much will get done before summertime and what we can release."
As for a loose timetable, Pipes later added: "Hopefully we'll have [some new material] we can preview before we go over to Europe and play some of the festivals over there. Maybe we'll have something to play for crowds by then, we'll see."
In the meantime, 3 Inches Of Blood has two shows celebrating the 20th anniversary of Advance and Vanquish coming up in a few weeks. Both shows will be opened by Toxic Holocaust, Haunt, and Intranced. The two 3 Inches Of Blood shows for California are:
1/24 Hollywood, CA The Fonda Theatre
1/25 San Francisco, CA The Regency Ballroom
