Dragonforce will release their eighth studio record since 2003 this year, which might make some of you feel a little old. Myself included. The band has not yet announced anything, but we do know the album was recorded with producer Damien Rainaud (Fear Factory, Once Human) and is likely due out toward the end of the year via Metal Blade.
Guitarist Herman Li leaked about 20 seconds of instrumental music on his recent Twitch livestream, and the band posted it to their YouTube channel as a sort of teaser for the record. The snippet sounds like a boss battle from an SNES RPG with better production. So yeah, Dragonforce music.
