We've been posting and posting about it nonstop, but now here's the news you've been waiting for! Dark Tranquillity will release its new album Atoma on November 4 via Century Media Records. According to the band, its about halfway through recording the effort, which is "shaping up to be a diverse and challenging affair that will feature a lot of different aspects of the D.T. sound."
The band is keeping the affair relatively in-house, with the album being recorded at its keyboardist's own Rogue Music in Gothenburg and with the killer artwork below being done by the band's guitarist Niklas Sundin. Mixing duties for the album will be deftly handled by David Castillo (Katatonia, Opeth, Candlemass).
