DARK TRANQUILLITY Announces 25th Anniversary Vinyl Reissue Of Projector

The fan-favorite record is arriving in three different variants.

Dark-Tranquillity

Gothenburg’s melodic death metal legends, Dark Tranquillity, are celebrating not one but two major milestones. After the successful release of their 13th studio album, Endtime Signals, through Century Media Records, the band has announced a much-anticipated vinyl reissue of their 1999 album Projector.

Projector, a fan favorite, marked a significant shift for Dark Tranquillity, as they began exploring more atmospheric and diverse elements in their sound. This release also marked the beginning of the band's long partnership with Century Media Records and earned them their first nomination for a Swedish Grammis Award. The album’s progressive approach to melodic death metal has made it a standout, and its reissue comes just in time to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Originally recorded at Gothenburg's famed Studio Fredman with Fredrik Nordström (known for his work with In Flames, Arch Enemy, and At The Gates), the album’s 10 main tracks have been remastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound (Opeth, Katatonia, Edge Of Sanity) for this special 2024 vinyl edition.

The Projector (Re-issue 2024) vinyl will be available starting November 1, with three distinct color variants for collectors:

  • Ltd. brick red LP — available at all outlets
  • Ltd. neon orange LP — 300 copies from Bengans, EMP & Napalm Records
  • Ltd. transparent sun yellow LP — 300 copies from CMDistro & select retailers

Pre-orders are available now.
