CAVALERA CONSPIRACY Signs To Nuclear Blast, Re-Records Early SEPULTURA Material & Announces Tour

Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions got a facelift.

Cavalera 2023

Cavalera Conspiracy, the duo of founding Sepultura members Max and Igor Cavalera, has signed to Nuclear Blast. The duo's first releases will be re-recordings of Sepultura's 1985 debut album Bestial Devastation and 1986 follow-up Morbid Visions.

"As we get harder year after year, sometimes you've got to go back to where it all started!" said Max. "We re-recorded Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions with the amazing sound of NOW, but with its raw and timeless spirit. The artwork reflects the times we're living in right now… Apocalyptic as hell! We also have two new tracks with riffs from those days, remembered by heart."

"I always felt like the recordings of our earlier work didn't do justice to the way we performed the songs," added Iggor. "So, this is a very special moment in our lives that we are very proud to show you real fans our true representation of the amazing records Bestial Devastation & Morbid Visions with an insane visual identity…enjoy and see you all in the pit"

The 2023 versions of Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions were produced by the Cavaleras, engineered by John Aquilino, mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Enforced, Primitive Man, Full Of Hell, etc.), and given new artwork by Eliran Kantor (Entheos, Kreator, Malevolence, etc.). Stay tuned for more information soon, and check out our recent editorial on both Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions here (our author calls them both albums – it's up for debate).

Cavalera Conspiracy will also embark on the Morbid Devastation Tour in celebration of their early Sepultura material. Cavalera is joined by Igor Amadeus Cavalera (Go Ahead And Die) and bassist Travis Stone (Pig Destroyer) to round out their lineup. Openers are Exhumed and Incite.
