Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason recently recorded a song to help raise funds for the fight against cancer. According to Iommi in an interview with La Heavy, the recording sessions took place a few weeks ago.
"A few weeks ago, Nick and I recorded a song for a charity album that will raise funds to fight cancer," he said. "They asked me to go and provide some riffs for it. Of course, I gladly agreed."
Iommi says in the interview that Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is involved in the project as well. No further information is currently available about the project, but we're certainly keeping an eye out!
