Arsis posted an update on their new album, Unwelcome, which is almost finished being mixed. The album, which was produced by Mark Lewis (DevilDriver, Whitechapel), apparently is supposed to sound unpolished, which makes sense given the crusty-as-fuck album art. Here is what the band said on their Facebook page:
“Unwelcome” is almost finished being mixed, after which we’ll get a sample of how the mastered album will sound. It doesn't sound polished, and we love that. When we have a firm grasp on when this motherfucker will come out, we’ll post.
There hasn't been any audio released yet, other than these two videos of their drummer recording in the studio. We'll be sure to throw any new Arsis we find into the A/V Roundup as soon as we find it. Here's the vids:
