Arsis have been hard at work recording the follow up to their 2010 release Starve For The Devil. Metal Injection first broke the news back in June with some quick quotes from founding member and current guitarist and vocalist James Malone. James gave us some insight to how the album was coming along and also mentioned that the band had also started to work on the album artwork and title for the upcoming release. Well wait no more, as we now have confirmation as to the name of the upcoming album as well as a preview of the artwork!
The artwork has been done by none other than Mark Riddick, who has done numerous pieces for a variety of bands including Devourment, Coffins, Fleshgod Apocalypse and more. He is pretty much a maestro for all things zombie related and Arsis' cover art looks to be another piece of pure brilliance. Mark Riddick posted the in progress album artwork for the album's digipak CD on his facebook page. Looking at the artwork we can also announce that the band's new album will be called "Unwelcome." It's short, but right to the point.
For all the Arsis fans out there, in case you missed it when we originally posted it, below are two videos of the band's drummer recording in the studio. We want more but unfortunately no finalized songs have been released yet. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer!
