AC/DC work fast. In May, we learned they would be hitting the studio, although without the aid of primary songwriter Malcolm Young, due to rising health concerns.
Not only is the band done recording their new album, they already have a release date and everything. The band will release Rock Or Bust, their first new album in six years on December 2nd.
To give you an idea of how big the promo push will be for the album, their first single, "Play Ball" will premiere as part of Major League Baseball's postseason kickoff this weekend on TBS.
The band confirmed what we've known for a while, Malcolm Young is not coming back:
"Unfortunately due to the nature of Malcolm's illness, he will not be rejoining the band."
As widely speculated, he will be replaced by his nephew Stevie, who also played on the album. A world tour is expected to be announced shortly.
