Okay, it's now safe to assume that last week's teaser that Slayer posted about "the end" is indeed a last round of final tour dates on their farewell tour. The reason we know this is because one of the dates leaked today.
Pollstar notes the band will be performing at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV on November 27th. Checking back on previous final tour itineraries, Slayer have yet to conquer Vegas on their most recent two legs of final tour dates, so they really are making sure to hit every market before hanging up the boots.
It also falls in line with the news that Primus' Les Claypool leaked that the band's last leg would also hit New York City's Madison Square Garden (Slayer avoided playing NYC proper, instead playing shows in neighboring Long Island and New Jersey) as well as a final show at Los Angeles's Fabulous Forum.
With tickets likely going on sale this Friday, it's safe to assume the entire itinerary will be released before the end of the week.
Are you excited for this last run of Slayer dates?
