After this summer, Slayer will never tour North America again. That's been their promise. (We're still giving away tickets to those shows, by the way.) The band also announced dates in the United Kingdom and Europe for October and November. That led many Slayer fans to assume this would be the last year they are touring.
Those fans are wrong as Slayer announced the first date of their 2019 tour.
Slayer will be headlining France's Hellfest next year. The band were one of the first announced for the annual weekend festival, along with Manowar, Carcass, Mass Hysteria and Dropkick Murphys. The event happens June 21st – 23rd, 2019.

Hellfest is deep in the middle of European festival season, along with others like Download, Rock am Ring, Graspop, Swedish Rock Fest. With Slayer already in Europe, will they be doing their final rounds of the festival circuit next year?
